Walking for inspiration (and health)

So with my day job work drying up due to the current situation, I have had lots of time to fill with things I enjoy doing. I am lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and have been out for a walk everyday; some walks have been longer than others. The rapeseed is beautiful against the blue sky and newly greened trees, but it really gets down your throat. Some of it is taller than me!

Getting out in the fresh air, listening to the skylarks, and stretching your legs is so good for the soul. The other morning I saw 3 deer race across a field and I saw also a snake. It had been warming itself in the early morning sun and slithered away when we walked past.

Here's a Haiku inspired by my walk:

Vibrant yellow blooms
Soft oval petals in fours
Pretty but choking
