How Time Flies!
I can't believe it has been more than a month since my last post! I haven't felt very creative recently but at last, I was inspired to write a short piece called the Seagull Man after spotting a chap walking along the Military Canal near Hythe Beach last week. Gill has kindly scheduled it for 30th July on CafeLit . I also submitted a fairy tale to Enchanted Magazine , for August, but only one is chosen each month and it wasn't mine. However, my short story "The Christmas Wish" was chosen today by Kate for the Christmas in July issue. It felt a little odd writing a Christmas story in the middle of summer, but still thoroughly enjoyable. Yesterday I submitted a second story for Tick Tock and a dark moments drabble to Black Hare Press . This morning I wrote a story called "Bear with a sore Head" for Wrath, also for BHP. So I'm feeling pretty good today. Long may it last.
